Aucella confirmed President: "Reconfirmation in the name of continuity"

The new Board of Directors met yesterday for the first time, and Vincenzo Aucella was unanimously confirmed as President of the Assocoral also for the three-year period 2022-2025.

With this formal act, the new course of the association officially begins, and it does so in the name of continuity.

"I am honored by this reconfirmation, I accept it with a great sense of responsibility and with an awareness that the events that have involved the whole world in the last 2 years will still have repercussions on our work. The challenge, therefore, is even more difficult than my appointment as President in 2019. - declares Aucella - But at the same time, having a compact Board of Directors that has renewed its willingness to continue for another three years, makes me understand how this sense of responsibility is also widespread among my colleagues / friends who will assist me until 2025. ".

President Aucella also confirms the Vice Presidents, Ciro Condito and Tommaso Mazza. In the Board of Auditors, Brunella Mazza was elected President.

The association has proven to be more and more a true incubator of ideas, capable after 45 years of activity, of representing the only union that worthily responds to the needs of the artisans and coral and cameo traders of Torre del Greco.

"The objectives - continues Aucella - of this next three years will be consistent with what has been done to date, and will develop on different directives: commitment on all national and international tables in terms of sustainability, which requires constant comparison between institutions, the scientific part and binders; from the trade unions point of view, we will be repeating the discussion tables with the unions for the renewal of the Assocoral employment contract and we are working on a new vision of the figure of the engraver that aims to simplify many bureaucratic tasks and at the same time give greater dignity to the artist ; promotion of our excellence through various levels of involvement of our associates; continue to support those who train in our area, and I am referring to the Istituto Degni, and try to fill those gaps due to the latest school reform ".

And above all on the promotion aspect, there is great expectation of the whole sector on the "Made in Torre del Greco" brand, which in just under 2 months from its launch, has already registered interesting positive signs both from operators in the sector and from many institutions.

The brand has already received the patronage of the ICE Agency, which immediately believed in this project to enhance what is a true "Made in Italy", and over the next three years together we will go to promote it around the world. with initiatives designed and calibrated for our production sector.
